Religious officials have long forsaken digging deep into the Ten Commandments to learn and promote the libertarian reasons why forbidding coveting, stealing, and bearing false witness is important for freedom and prosperity. Instead, religious officials have encouraged Orwellian iniquity in both government and themselves in order to covet, steal, and bear false witness by the easiest means available for over 3,500 years – going back almost to when the Ten Commandments were given. It led to the disastrous destruction of ancient Israel as well as to cunning oppression by governments and religion ever since! As such, it is rather funny, ironic, and even hilarious that modern church “officials” supposedly find the importance of “Biblical Law” to be so “important.”
As the author of Clergy Secrets has a Lutheran background, let us take a look at the two main understandings of “Biblical Law” in Lutheranism that serve Orwellian oppression. (FYI, this information also represents other denominations as well.)
Boiling things down, there are essentially two main Lutheran camps. On one hand, some Lutherans say that “Biblical Law,” including the Ten Commandments, is made up of “timeless imperatives which will never change as the Word of God is timelessly eternal.” This type of theological understanding comes from verses such as Matthew 24:35 (see verse below) and is represented by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS claims that the Bible has specific directives (laws) for the Christian life, including structures for society, church, and ministry – and that Christians ought to aspire to those codes.* Such understanding by the LCMS, for example, prevents the LCMS from ordaining women.

On the other hand in the “Lutheran realm,” the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) generally holds a basic understanding, more or less, that biblical law shows how Jews and Christians have used law as “reason in their own times” to work out life in this present earthly world, but that such “law” is neither revelation or a matter of salvation. For these kinds of Lutherans, their predominant understanding of “law,” including the Ten Commandments, comes from Romans 10:13 (see verse below) which they say establishes “reasoned love” as fulfillment of the law. Such “reasoned love” is recognized by the ELCA’s theology, more or less, as acting to “restrain evil and doing no harm in the context of the presently occurring times and circumstances.” **

Frank R. Wallace described “eternal consciousness” by saying the following in the next two paragraphs:
“(1) Consciousness is man’s discovery that sprang from his nature-evolved bicameral mind. Consciousness is not part of nature’s evolutionary processes, but is a natural phenomenon of existence. Thus, the first conscious minds on this planet are the same as the conscious minds on this planet today…and the same as conscious minds in any galaxy ten million years from now. All conscious minds have the same ability to understand anything in existence.”
(2)“Consciousness, therefore, does not evolve. It exists eternally, unchangingly. And its capacity to understand anything in the universe transposes into forever fulfilling the supreme responsibility of conscious beings. That responsibility is to preserve forever the supreme value of the universe – individual consciousness.”

Furthermore, in the context of “eternal consciousness” as put forth by Frank R. Wallace, Mr. Wallace goes on to say that conscious-minded civilizations would endure and prosper only because they consciously recognize concepts of honesty and individual freedom as they relate to “individual consciousness.” This would include civilizations such as those that would exist either in “Heaven” or in some super-advanced alien dimension that has existed for billions of years.
Relating the similarities of the Ten Commandments to Frank R. Wallace’s ideas, both arenas indeed parallel each other, especially those mutually common essences that protect the freedom of conscious minds by underscoring the need for honesty and admonishing to not “covet, steal, or bear false witness.”
Both the Ten Commandments and Frank R. Wallace’s ideas contain the kinds of pro-freedom, pro-liberty, pro-productive, and pro-moral essences that most “religious officials” and their “religious bureaucratic traditions” have deceitfully refrained from engaging in for nearly 3,500 years – going back almost to when the Ten Commandments were given!!!

Jesus specifically preached about such cunning and deceitful “dominating authority” in Mark 7:1-16, saying that it “renders the Word to no effect.” Such dishonest “authority” is the most sly, lazy, and shrewd means that “religious officials” use to acquire adulation, praise, and power for both themselves and government by the easiest means available – in Orwellian fashion!
This pattern of turning off minds is regularly accomplished by way of coercively forcing “religious authority” (albeit in often polite ways) by promoting various rote and repeating “traditions that render the Word to no effect (Mark 7:13).” Such tactics ultimately cause docile indifference in people which then allows religious officials to forsake upholding freedom against bondage and slavery – especially against attempts by both religion and government themselves to use more “bureaucracy” in order to covet, steal, and bear false witness! This is in stark contrast to Jesus’ ministry which aimed to honestly stimulate people’s minds to consciously assess and dynamically analyze reality along with how to beneficially change such reality!
Regarding again the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), which generally claims, more or less, that “reasoned love fulfills the law,” the problem is also that conscious minds are turned off – causing them to fail at holding both religion and government honest to the Commandments against coveting, stealing, and bearing false witness. In this example though, the ELCA leans toward a sort of socialistic laziness while doing its sorting out of “love in the context of the current times and circumstances.”
In the ELCA’s case, people’s minds are so turned off by being forcibly intoxicated by church officials with the concept of “giving love by the easiest means available,” via socialism, that minds fail to seek out and understand the inherent positive essences of how the Ten Commandments protect people from bondage and establish freedom, especially specifically how the Commandments against coveting, stealing, and bearing false witness protect individuals from bondage and slavery by government. The ELCA’s theological social statements thereby seem to exhibit quite socialistic tendencies that consider coveting, stealing, and bearing false witness to be quite “ok” if done by government. This giving of “religious approval,” by ELCA religious officials to government, is a prime example of how a circuit of deceitful Orwellian bondage is first started by religious officials who tacitly support government coveting, stealing, and bearing false witness – which is then perpetuated more when corrupt government officials return favor by holding religious officials in supposed “high regard” and “reverence.”
In the end, both realms of Lutheranism are perpetrators of oppressive “traditions that render the Word to no effect (Mark 7:13)” for the sake of coercing people into allowing both corrupt religion and corrupt government to covet, steal, and bear false witness!
The Lutheran LCMS and the Lutheran ELCA however are hardly alone in their Orwellian quests as the vast majority of other Judeo-Christian organizations are also perpetrators of the same offenses. This has caused much of the world to be enslaved, by both hollow religion and corrupt government, into adhering to their near endless Orwellian bondage that causes people to forsake the freeing libertarian benefits of the Ten Commandments. Such diabolical bondage has destroyed many nations and people for nearly 3,500 years, and will perhaps still ultimately push all of humanity off-the-deep-end toward an endless Orwellian Hell!
Orwellian bondage has always most often begun with
(1) the inherent laziness of religious officials to not promote the positive libertarian essences of the Commandments that are against coveting, stealing, and bearing false witness and by
(2) the greedy desires of religious officials to gain adulation, praise, and power by the easiest means available through tempting government with “religious approval” if government will return favor by holding religious officials in both “high regard” and “reverence.”
